A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“Exceeded my expectations. I love tiny houses and I was amazed by the quality of the construction and decor. I easily walked to coffee shops and Whole Foods and there were lots of nearby restaurants. I think in retrospect I’d rent a car next time to see the sights of Portland, since parking seems really doable in the surrounding neighborhood. (Lyft was ok I just like to have more freedom.) Communication was clear and easy about entry and checkout, and I felt safe in this area.”
“This place is GREAT! I stayed in Bamboo. It had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. Water temp and pressure were just right and in fact the water was very hot if I needed it. Everything was clean inside and out. The location could not have been better and free street parking was always available outside the main door to the property. One thing to note is that someone 6’ might have trouble in the bed because the ceiling above it is sloped. I’m 5’ so had no trouble.”
“I stayed at the Bamboo Tiny house at Tiny Digs Hotel Portland for three nights in Sept. A great experience. There were two of us- one slept in the loft and the other on the pull out couch. We left the pull out couch open the whole time and it still worked for us space-wise. There was space for a third person to sleep there- I think you'd just want to be organized about your packing. We didn't prepare any food there- didn't need to- so many options within walking distance. Loved the area and did not have any issues with parking. One night I had to park a little over a block away in the residential neighborhood down the side streets where Tiny Digs is located. No issues with that - the area feels safe and homey and people I encountered were all friendly. The shower inside the Bamboo house was small of course but completely adequate and with good water pressure. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.”
“We had a fabulous time staying at the Tiny Digs! We were in the Bamboo house which was not only cute and cozy but felt way more spacious than we expected. Everything you need is there. The outside patio has a fire pit and games, cool lights, hammocks etc. The neighborhood feels safe, has plenty of food and coffee options just minutes away. My two sons loved it and thought it was way more fun that staying at a regular hotel - I totally agree. We will definitely come back again!”
“Great little home away from home. I stayed in the cabin. Super cute, roomy enough for me and my two kids. We were able to walk to coffee and groceries. And other cool food stops. Neighborhood was quiet and people were friendly. Street parking no issues. Would definitely recommend.”
“Very fun location with many walkable amenities. The little village of tiny homes managed to be quiet in the midst of the city, which was very nice. The tiny homes them self each have a unique personality. I stayed in the Boho with my two small dogs. It's very well appointed. Tiny, yes, but everything needed was accounted for and it was very cozy with a comfortable bed. Would recommend.”
